Please refer to : names of some Indian cities .

Alahabad,

Hyderabad,

Secondarabad,

Ourangabad & also the city you mentoned hear,

" Ahmedabad ".

Some regional people can not pronounce certain letters or sounds.

In the olden days Persians who ruled our Indus valley could not pronounce the the great River's name " Zindu " ,and instead they called it " Hindu ".

Thus now we the Indian " Zindu People are called" Hindus".

" Hindu " is not basically a religious name but a geographical name . All the 1050,000,000 Indian people are Hindus ( the Indus people ).

Some people from North- east India can not pronounce "V" and instead of " V " they use "B".

Instead of "Oven " they say " Oben "

In Southern end of Kerala border some (Tamil- speaking) people, instead of asking

" Give me a Bun "

they say ,

" Give me a Vun "

Instead of " Bench "

they call it Vench " ( ofcourse spoken form )

The Hebrews call their fore father " Abraham " &

By the Muslims he is called " Ibrahim " (' I ' insted of ' A' ).

In Abrahams people Jesus was born.

God once changed Abraham's name .

His original name was Abram ( Ab Ram means Abba Ram or Father Ram. or Father of Ram)

It is a typical tamil name .

In Tamil "Ayyah " means ABBA =father .

Even today there is a word " Ram Ayyah " ( Ramiah ) in Tamil [ which means " Abba Ram " / in Hebrew Ab Ram .

Ab Ram means " Exalted father " or Father of Elevation )

It can be taken as Father of Wisdom also.

The Ram or Rama of Ramayana is none other than the Ab Ram mentioned in the Bible .He was the only one most righteous man available on earth and God became his Friend and did great wonders.

Once Abimelech, King of Gerar took Sarah Ab Ram's wife to his palace ( around 3000 B.C .Ab Ram ,being alone and alien in that country never had to fight with the mighty king. But God his Friend just spoke and warned the king through a dream and helped Ab Ram get back Sarah safe.No man on earth could stand before Ab Ram because he was the Friend of God the creator of heaven and earth.Ab Ram was the most Elevated man for all the four relious people including the Hindus.

Abraham was the first "Iconoclast " ( the idol-breaker ) ever in the history of the world. Before he left from his native town ( to the place God commanded him to go ) the main thing he did was : he broke away all the idols his father and relatives had made for sales and for their worship. But now the Hindus ,because of ignorance want to make and errect idols and statues for Father Ram who was the first and number one enemy for idols.

Nodoubt ,the Hindus are thus Father Ram's children.

Hindus must discard idols and come forward to inherit the equal rights enjoyed by the Jews ,Muslims and the Christians.

God, later changed Ab Ram's name in to " Ab Raham ".

Even today the word " Raham " in Tamil means " a good Breed " or " a good Variety " .

God changed Ab Ram's Name in to Ab Raham which Biblically means " Father of a Multitude ". We must wonder to see how meaningful his name is with the above four groups of people .It covers almost the major portion of the World Population.

The Hindus ,

the Jews ,

the Muslims , &

the Christians.

" This is what the LORD says :

" Stand at crossroads and look;

ask for ancient paths,

ask where the good way for your souls.

But you said ,' We will not walk in it '.

( Bible :Jeremiah 6:16 )

21b.".. this is the way; walk in it".

22. Then you will defile your idols overlaid with silver and your images covered with gold ;

you will throw them away like a menstrual cloth and say to them ," away with you ! "

Here also the name Ab Ram can be pronounced as folows

Abram = Avram

Abraham = Avraham ( please refer to Bibles dictionaries )

God changed Ab Ram's wife's name also from

Sarai To Sarah

This is just a dialectical change .

Sarai or Sarah means " Princess "

Sarai the former name &

Sarah the later name .

Even today the primitive Dravidian people ( that are the Tamils ) use the former form only .

But somewhat later people ( I hope , some what dialectically distant people ,the North Indians use " ah " for "ai "

The former form - The later form - Meaning

----------------------- -------------------- ---------------

Ammai - Ammah - Mother

Kathai - Kathah - story

Boojai - Boojah - worship

Dosai - Dosah - a tiffin item

Sarai - Sarah - Mrs . Ab Ram

Sitai - Sitah ( Sita ) - Mrs .Ram(a)

Again : some people not pronounce "H" in their words.

There is " PH " in English , ( e.g) Philosophy.

But there is no "Bh " in English .

The North Indian people(like you ) call

India as "Bharat "

Where as the South Indians write it

as " Bharat "

but read it just "Barat " without the aspirated "H".

In Tamil "Athu " means "That " ( that thing )

But "Athu in a poetic and rhetoric form is used as

" Ahthu " .

These are some dialectical differences only .We must adjust and be affectionate with all people of all dialects and thus maintain Unity ,Love and brotherhood.

Just bear with me ...The North Indians as well as the Malayalam - speaking people always think low of the Tamil-speaking people with regard to the lack of cartain sophistication in Tamil language.

Tamil is a divine and a Classical language . No doubt, many of us believe that this was the language with which God spoke to Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden .He Himself taught Tamil to them. It can be very easily proved to the world.

The Bible God worshipped in His Trinity form.

According to Bible "Word is God "

All Tamil words have only three letters.

If there are words found with more letters ,they can be foreign words .But if we search properly there will be a three lettered word.

There are combined words also ( 3+3= 6 )

Vaa na m = sky or air

OO r thi = vehicle .

Put together it becomes

Vaa na oo r thi = aeroplane .

Please see some three lettered words below:-

A m ma = mother

Meaning of some words :-

Kanavan =( kan + avan)= He is the Eye = husband .

kan= eye ,avan= he

in English husband means a plough man .that's all

In Tamil Husband means "he is the eye" if your eye is damaged your whole is damaged.Hence women are so obedient to their husbands and alway try to remain loyal ,pure and chaste .

Ka R pu = learning

the same word "Ka R pu " is used to denote " Chastity "

To be Chaste is learning or being educated

.

The Bible says '

" A wife of noble character who can find?

She is worth far more than rubies.

Her husband has full confidence in her

and lacks nothing of value.

She brings him good ,not harm,

all the days of her life."

( Proverbs 31:10-12 )

Ba th thi ni = Ba( k ) thi ni [ k silent ]

Bakthi means Piety , austerity . or devotedness to God .

Bakthini refers to a woman who is chaste, truthful , loyal and devoted to her husband .

Thiru = Mr means " Holy " or saintly

Tamil says that every man is of godly birth and also warns that no one should enslave , iltreat or mistreat any man .

"Thiru" means " Holy ".

Thiru Quran = The Holy Quran

Thiru Vivilium = The Holy Bible

Thiru Pathi = The Holy Place .

Thiru Ram = Holy Ram ( Shri Ram in Hindi )

Thiru George W.Bush is some thing great .

But what is the meaning of the word " Mr "( Mister) when compared to the Tamil Unique word "Thiru ".

Almost all English words lack such Primary meanings and that is why now a days we can see a very great Cultural Disorder in the West . The world should urgently return to the

Tamil and the Hebrew culture ( the Abrahamic culture) or the world will have to face Terrible consequences soon.I challenge.

I appreciate and congratulate Non-Tamil people who are already learning Tamil and its culture.

Friends ,just approach

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu,

India.

The Chief Mminister will extend his / her maximum help to you to learn Tamil.

" LORD !

I know nothing except that all should be happy"

( Thayumanavar - a Tamil holy bard )

Every word in Tamil teaches a discipline and thus maintains the great & unique Tamil culture .

No educated man or wise man will ever look down upon Tamil or Tamil culture because it is divine.

Abraham belongs to the Dravidian group with the Tamil Culture .

Abraham's native Town was a place called Ur which is a pure and typical Tamil word..

Even today all villages and towns are called Ur in Tamil.

Thirupur

Irumpuliur.

Marungur

Puthur

Puliur

Garur

Sittur

Aalur

Nallur

Porur

people just ask others

" Which is your Ur ? (that means " which is your village or town "

In olden times, only in villages and towns Light was available .

People who walk in darkness would say " Oh ,there appears a light "

that means " there appears a village"

Ab Ram's town Ur means Light.

Even today the Hebrews and the Tamils use many words in common.

"ABBA " = father

The Tamils will have a basic letter and can use it for all its other forms too.

Tamil lacks no sound as many Malayalam people think.

That is the nature of Ab Ram's language .

They were well-versed in the language and hence they used certain styles which unfamiliar people fount it difficult.

Ab Ram's people the Hebrews wrote just

"Ab" and called it Abba.

Rm = Ram

Mss = Moses.

Nh =Noah .

Likewise is the case with the Tamils .

They would write a basic "K " and read with all its related sounds : ka , kka , ga , ha

(e.g ) karumbu =sugarcane

AKKA = elder sister

Thangam = gold

pangam = damage

Sungam = Tax

Kaa ham = crow

Tamil has all forms of "S" also.

S, Sh. Ch,J

Soaru = rice (meala)

Choaru = rice ( meal) [ col..]

Kashtam = difficulty

Nashtam = loss

Kanjaa = opium

Anjaa =fearless state

Panjam =famine .

Regarding D. ( D,T,Dh, Th ...)

Kudam = pitcher

kadam =loan

Padham = foot

Sadham = Ten

Madham = religion

Maadham =month

Saa dham = food .

Saththam = sound

Sattam = law

Pattam = kite

Tamil lacks nothing as some people unfortunately think .

It is not a dead language too.

It is used by more than 70,000,000 people including some non-Tamil peoples .

It is not a language to be criticised by the North Indians or the Malayalam People . Tamil is divine and it is to be revered.

No man should insult any language or dialect, because God lives in all people and uses their respective languages .

All human beings are only brothers and sisters of a same Father God .

" Love must be sincere.

Hate what is evil;

cling to what is good.

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love .

Honour one another above yourselves .

Never be lacking in Zeal,

but keep your spiritual fervour ,

serving the Lord. "

( Bible :Romans 12: 9- 11 )

Whats your Question dear?

Ahmedabad:

Ahmedabad (Gujarati: અમદાવાદ Amdāvād, Hindi: अहमदाबाद Ahmadābād (help·info)) is the largest city in the state of Gujarat and the seventh-largest urban agglomeration in India, with a population of almost 53 lakhs (5.3 million).[1] Located on the banks of the River Sabarmati, the city is the administrative centre of Ahmedabad district, and was the capital of Gujarat from 1960 to 1970; the capital was shifted to Gandhinagar thereafter. The city is sometimes called Karnāvaṭī, a name for an older town that existed in the same location; in colloquial Gujarati, it is commonly called Amdāvād. Residents are called Amdavadi.

The city was founded in 1411 to serve as the capital of the Sultanate of Gujarat, by its namesake, Sultan Ahmed Shah. Under British rule, a military cantonment was established and the city infrastructure was modernised and expanded. Although incorporated into the Bombay Presidency during the British rule in India, Ahmedabad remained the most important city in the Gujarat region. The city established itself as the home of a booming textile industry, which earned it the nickname "the Manchester of the East."[2] The city was at the forefront of the Indian independence movement in the first half of the 20th century.[2] It was the epicentre of many campaigns of civil disobedience to promote workers' rights, civil rights and political independence.
